I love the way the tree both echoes and builds on the leaf of the first book. And it’s even thematically appropriate.

After a devastating war between humanity and Faerie, Liza’s world was forever changed. Plants and trees became aggressive, seeking to root in living flesh and bone, and newborn children were discovered to have magic powers. I still adore the font they used on the Faerie books. And I love the tree! It looks more menacing than the last two books, which makes sense. YAY!
