On this final day (and after the final night) of Hanukkah: Light one candle for the strength we all need To never become our own foe And light one candle for those who are suffering The pain we learned so long ago Here’s to lighting candles in the dark, and believing in miracles, and all the ways we all have in us to continue spreading light in this world now that the candles have burned down.
