I’m back from Phoenix Comicon, where thanks to Nadine Armstrong, Lee Whiteside, and the folks at Mysterious Galaxy, not to mention the con itself, we had a
Faerie After launch party. We had early copies of the book available at-con only, so along the way–and throughout the weekend–I also signed many pre-release copies.
Here I am in fey attire for the party:

Earlier in the con, I got to try out my
Faerie After T-shirt, hand-painted by my mother-in-law:

There were also
many panels, much good conversation, purchases of various interesting-looking random comics, a
random evacuation, and, thanks to
lnhammer, a complete Chinese zodiac:

Also, there may have been a few temptations:

Should I or shouldn’t I?

But how could I take off to adventure through time and space so close to my release date?
If you’re in Phoenix but weren’t at Comicon, you still have a chance to get a signed copy of
Faerie After. I’ll be at Changing Hands launching the book on my official release date–that’s this Tuesday–at 6 p.m. Or, if you’re in Tucson (aka home), I’ll be signing there this Saturday, at 1 p.m. at the eastside Barnes and Noble. Come join me!
