Mother adjusting how toddler is strapped into high chair: “We’re not whiners, we’re solution finders!”
I wonder what Honest Toddler would have to say about that?

I’m kind of torn. (From my not-yet-having-raised-a-toddler perspective.) Because maybe whining isn’t pleasant, but maybe it’s also understandable/to be expected when you’re barely even walking?
Which isn’t to say I don’t admire patient responses to same!

I do like the sentiment, though. And the courage it takes to say it out loud to your child. In public. 🙂
