In which the desert takes a vacation & our mountains get sent out for cleaning

The entire sky is gray today–all of it, not so much as a single random patch of blue to break it up–and the mountains are gone, and a wind is blowing cold, cold rain across the land.

Today, the desert is playing at being someone else.

Still a slight chance of snow later this afternoon, likely mixed with rain.

ETA: No snow, because as usual the temps waited to drop until the clouds cleared. Managed to get as far as sleet, though.
