Speak loudly

I’ve not yet had a chance to blog about the man who dubbed Laurie Halse Anderson’s (amazing, funny, poignant, lifesaving) Speak and Sarah Ockler’s Twenty Boy Summer (which I’ve not yet read but now plan to) “soft pornography” and is attempting to get both books removed from his school district’s shelves, so instead, here are some links to folks who have blogged about it:

– Saundra Mitchell: Speak Loudly

There’s also further discussion on twitter under the hash tag #speakloudly
