One more reason to enjoy living in a subtropical clime

Hours of sunlight today: 10 hours and 3 minutes.

I love snow, and I don’t much mind cold when I remember to dress for it. But the sun–I miss the sun when the days grow short, and like that they don’t grow quite as short here. (I also like that they don’t quite grow as long in June, given what our summers are like.)

May year’s long night hold much warmth for you all, however long it may be. And may the sun shine brightly when it returns in the morning.

(In the Northern hemisphere. In the Southern, may you have a lovely long summer’s night. :-))
