I was thrilled when my publisher asked last week if I would sign bookplates for them to send with Bones into bookstores. I’ve been signing them ever since–at home, while taking breaks from writing, while watching TV (Dr. Who Season 4 has shown up on Netflix, which means I’m actually watching TV this week), at the local coffee shop (where jennifer_j_s stopped by to keep me company). It feels a little like this is Bones’ first signing, only without (mostly) anyone else there.
The thought of those bookplates–and the books they go with–winging their way to bookstores around the country is pretty exciting!
