We’re all geeks.
None of us are geeks in the same way. Of the beginning students there, no two of us worked at or studied the same thing.
But not one of us had a normal, middle-of-the-road, on-track-for-your-basic-office-career vocation, either.
The range included everything from studying classical civilizations to learning to pilot small aircraft to designing special effects to doing engineering for theater to, well, writing fantasy novels.
We’re all weird, and we’re all weird in utterly different ways. I love that.
