Apparently there was a pretty serious zombie attack earlier today. I’m kind of embarrassed to admit I didn’t notice. But, well, I don’t watch TV news, and I’ve been skimming my friends’ list lately, and I’ve been working on this book for way too long and really just want it done … but that’s no excuse for being underinformed, I know. And it’s not like I didn’t know this would happen someday, or hadn’t caught mentions in all those emails folks are always forwarding to me, the ones warning me not to open suspect emails or flash my headlights or travel near graveyards without proper brain protection.
Anyway, I really really hope everyone in the affected areas is okay, and that all your loved ones are safe. I’m thinking (belated) good thoughts for you all.
