This Richard Shindell song has been haunting me ever since I really listened to it for the first time yesterday, when it came up on a random music mix: “You Stay Here” (includes sound file of the complete song).
Shindell may be becoming my favorite songwriter. A lovely voice, and he a breathtaking ability to tell full stories in just a few verses.
