So it occurred to me last night that currently “Rainbow Bridge” gets used in two very different mythological contexts: it’s the only way to get from the world of men to the world of the Norse gods — and it’s also the place where beloved pets wait for their owners.
This makes my head hurt.
One can only hope someone is keeping the two bridges straight. Because otherwise, there are going to be some awfully confused pet owners at the gates of Valhalla.
