Two nights ago, the evening, without warning, had the smell of winter. As if someone had flipped the switch, from one season to the next.
Today was gray and rainy for the first time in a couple months, and that chill never quite left the air, and temperatures only made it into the 50s.
Tonight, our first frost, most likely.
I’ve given up my shorts and even (mostly) tank tops. I’m thinking maybe it’s time to put on a pair of socks.
