I kind of miss the days when I could say “Oooh, I want that book!” and know I’d only be out five or ten bucks.

Unlike certain other recent purchases, though, I think this one can wait. A little while, at least. Or better, find out whether my local library can get it from the local university library via interlibrary loan. Seeing as this one is not only published in the U.S., but just a few miles down the road from me. Also unlike those other recent purchases.
