junoxxiv asks: what outstanding SF has been written in the last fifteen years? I ask this in truth because I love, love, love SF and I went looking for a new book/new author last weekend and couldn’t find one.
Robert Silverburg, Robert Heinlein, Frank Herbet, John Varley, Philip Dick, Roger Zelazny, Jack Chalker, Anne MCcaffrey, Milliam Gibson, Ben Bova, Larry Niven: I always find myself going back to read books I’ve already read. I want something new! SIlverburg has a relatively recent novel. Is there anything else out there?
I tossed out Ann Halam and Scott Westerfeld, but I thought I’d throw it open to the group mind, because I’m curious, too.
What outstanding SF have you read that was published in the past fifteen years?
