– 1 cup lowfat milk (whole or skim would likely work too)
– 1 cup vanilla yogurt
– 1 banana
– 1 cup berries (any kind)
Put in the blender, mix, and drink. Makes 2-4 servings.
Yummmy, cool, and as far as I can tell all the ingredients are actually healthy ones. And it doesn’t taste good in that “I know it’s good for me so I’ll learn to like it” way, but rather in a “wow this tastes decadently good” way.
Inspired by the smoothies had at the home of friends, by a couple of overpriced juice bars, and by the usual mix of Internet recipe sites. I wonder why it never occurred to me to try this before now?
