Imaginary worlds

Thanks to everyone who chimed in about their childhood (and adulthood) imaginary worlds. It was fascinating to see the recurring themes–especially the way bits of our world fuel the imaginary worlds, either physical things or stories heard or viewed. Also to see how some imaginary worlds were shared, and others were private/personal–it was definitely like that for me too. (As an adult, in one sense they’re all personal now, because I don’t collaborate well; but in another sense, every time something is published, it becomes more public than I ever imagined.)
