Scheduling

Just emailed yet another client to push back a meeting. I’m sure he’ll understand, but it does get kind of old to have to keep telling people, “Sorry, a friend died recently and I’m behind on work, this will be later than I promised.”

It begins to feel like an excuse, after awhile, even though I know it’s legit.

Another two weeks and I should be caught up at last, and able to focus on the novel-under-revision more strongly again. That will be a really good feeling.

It would, of course, help if this wasn’t the week my laptop keyboard chose to die on me. But so it goes.
