One of the humanitarian groups I most trust and respect, American Friends Service Committee (AFSC), now has a page up for earthquake/tsunami relief.
As with all their efforts, their focus will be on working with local residents to determine what’s most needed. And they say they’ll be there over the long term, after media attention has waned, and based on what I’ve seen of their past efforts, I believe that.
