Antibubbles!

Antibubbles

Specifically, a circle of water enclosed by air, rather than the more traditional circle of air enclosed by water.

Soap bubbles usually pop from the top, because the water/soap sinks in air, making the bottom thicker and the top thinner–and thus weaker. Since air rises in water, though, antibubbles tend to pop from the bottom instead.
