Faces of the Fallen: A Washington Post site with a photo and small amount of information on every U.S. soldier who’s died in Iraq.
In other words, a site that forces one to glimpse the people behind the news stories. Which is important: whatever one thinks of our current actions in Iraq, it’s important to understand something of the price being paid for those actions. How can one even begin to decide whether that price is worth paying or not, otherwise?
I wish there were a way to get a photo to go with every Iraqi death, as well.
